He first appeared in Doubutsu no Mori e+ as a Lazy villager, and after his appearance in Doubutsu no Mori e+, he remained absent from the series until Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo, where he returns as a Smug villager. Data for him exists in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer but ultimately remains unused. His English catchphrase is the name of a Cranky Penguin.

In New Horizons, Huck has the fitness hobby and will wear sporty shades and lift heavy dumbbells while exercising.
