Doubutsu no Mori+ (also translated as 'Animal Crossing') is an improved version of Dลbutsu no Mori, released only in Japan. Functions that were not technically implemented in Nintendo 64 were implemented in this game.
Also, some characters and facilities will appear in the game for the first time. For example, the original game did not have a 'museum' or a 'clothing store'.
A connection to the Game Boy Advance is also new in the Doubutsu no Mori+ game. You can visit the island if both consoles are connected by cable. Also, eCard readers that can use eCards have appeared.
