Barold is a Lazy bearCub in the Animal Crossing series. He first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf and has appeared in all subsequent games except Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. His English name is a portmanteau of bear and the given name Harold.

In New Horizons, Barold has the play hobby and can run around with his arms extended at any time, rather than only outside Resident Services during a scripted activity with a group of villagers.

Appearance

Barold is a gray bear cub with glasses, pink lips, and a five o'clock shadow. He has white paws and a white tail, an oval nose, and the insides of his ears are yellow and rimmed by orange.
