Sonny Resetti, commonly referred to as Mr. Resetti or simply Resetti, is a mole in the Animal Crossing series who appears in all games to date. Resetti's job prior to Animal Crossing: New Horizons is to make sure the player saves the game; if the player resets or quits without saving, he will appear outside their house to scold them. The more the player resets the game, the angrier he gets, yelling at the player more and for a longer amount of time. His first name is revealed to be Sonny in Animal Crossing and Animal Crossing: City Folk by his calmer elder brother, Don Resetti. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, where there is an autosave feature, Mr. Resetti no longer scolds the player for resetting and instead operates the Rescue Service.

Following the version 2.0 update in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Resetti can appear as a customer at The Roost. Resetti can also be invited to Photopia via his amiibo, after which Resetti's poster can be obtained from Nook Shopping.
