Lottie is a River otter in the Animal Crossing series who made her first appearance in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. She is Lyle's niece. Her English name likely derives from her species.

Prior to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, she worked for Nook Homes and serves as a guide for players as they designed homes. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise, she is the founder of Paradise Planning, a company that specializes in creating dream vacation homes for villagers.
